BALTIMORE, MD-After more than two years’ hiatus because of COVID-19, the Baltimore Art, Antique & Jewelry Show will return to Baltimore this fall. The annual art event will run from October 20-23, 2022, at the Baltimore Convention Center. This year’s event is a departure from the usual summer date schedule that happens during Labor Day Weekend.

Despite the change in time, The Palm Beach Show Group, the producers of the annual art event, are excited to return to Baltimore, Maryland. The change in date, according to the producers, allows them to “continue supporting the industry momentum through outreach to collectors, decorators, appraisers, and art advisors to come out and show their support for the industry.”

Scott Diament, President and CEO of the Palm Beach Show Group, explains the benefits of the change in date:

โ€œThere are clear benefits to the show dates moving later in the year, and more specifically during the 4th quarter. We are pleased to be among the industry’s planned cooperative efforts in fall 2022 that support and promote the importance of collecting.โ€

    Celebrating 40 Incredible Years

This year’s event marks 40 incredible years since the annual art show has been happening in Baltimore. As one of the most-anticipated collectorsโ€™ events, organizers of the annual Baltimore Art, Antique & Jewelry Show are looking forward to welcoming longtime and new exhibitors who will be showcasing a variety of quality items from every genre.

The annual art event will feature domestic and international exhibitors. As with past years, exhibitors will come with the best they have to offer. Some of the offerings will include furniture, American and European silver, major works of art, Asian antiquities, porcelain, Americana, antique and estate jewelry, glass, textiles, contemporary fine crafts, and more.

The Baltimore Show is one of the most anticipated international art, antique, and jewelry shows in the United States. It has a long-standing reputation among collectors as the most comprehensive and diverse event in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Every year, the event attracts thousands of artists, art lovers, and art aficionados to Baltimore. It was always a festival until COVID-19.

For almost two years, the Baltimore Convention Center, the venue of the annual event, was used as a field hospital to help alleviate the abundance of COVID-19 cases. Although they saw light use of the medical facilities, the hospital remained open out of precaution and abundance of care.  As a result, the Baltimore Show was postponed in 2020 and 2021.

Beyond art, the annual Art, Antique & Jewelry Show is a place for many people to meet and share their love of art. The return of the annual art fair will bring art lovers who have not seen each other in more than two years back together for this annual festivity.
