The release of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer is generation a lot of excitement among fans. Released  Monday during the half time of the Monday Night Football broadcast, the movie trailer shows why this new movie is something to look forward to. Expected to be released on December 18, 2015, the new movie has all the trappings of a blockbuster.

Coming after Revenge of the Sith released in 2015, Star Wars: The Force Awakens features John Boyega as Finn, Harrison Ford (Han Solo), Daisy Ridley (Rey) Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron) and Adam Driver (Kylo Ren). Directed  by J.J Abrams with story by George Lucas and music by John Williams, the movie combines the past with the present in a way that drives exhilaration.

Build up to the release of the new Star Wars movie trailer began April when a poster and announcement gave a tip of the iceberg of the forth coming  movie. The teaser poster created an unbelievable anticipation among super fans who were expecting more about the movie. The wait ended Monday when new trailer was released.

In addition to the release of the new trailer, advance tickets also went on sale. The response was unprecedented. In London, movie theater websites crashed as Star Wars fans rushed to get tickets. Many other ticketing websites have also  crashed in the United States as a result of enthusiastic fans eager to buy tickets. Although some sites started offering the tickets on ticketing websites including Fandango even before the scheduled sales date, the quest for tickets for the new movie has been unrelenting.

As the excitement grows two months before the Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens on Dec. 17, there is no doubt that fans keen on getting ticket for the movie must be very strategic. Besides trying multiple ticketing websites including FandangoRegalCinemark and others, fans can recruit friends, or visit their local theater. If all fails, however, fans can just stay in line and pray  that they make it to the point of sale before tickets run out.
