LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – Sarah Silva, the Seventeen-year-old Latin-pop crossover has released an exciting new video for her single “False Illusions.” This is one of the exciting tracks from her upcoming EP. The inspiration for the track and video comes from the classic boy-meets-girl stories. As expected, Sarah Silva added a Gen Z twist to it, making it contemporary. In trying to impress the girl, the boy sends the girl mixed signals and presents a “false illusion” of himself.   A stereotypical player, everything that he says to her does not seem to be fully true, especially when they meet in person. The new video tells the whole story.

“In the video, I invite a guy I’ve been talking to online, to one of my performances and right off the bat, I notice he’s a flirt with every girl he sees, so I’m like “nope” and tell him that I don’t need his False Illusions!” says Sarah.

Sarah’s inspiration comes from artists like Rosalía and Becky G, Sarah. The EP is expected to make a splash in the U.S. with her own unique brand of Latin pop music.

Sarah Silva had just completed EP before the coronavirus pandemic began. For her, the timing was a blessing because COVID 19 would have disrupted her plans. She said her new effort is giving her a lot of excitement because it is refreshing and new.
