Palm Beach Show Returns Live and in-person in 2021 as the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines bring new hope.

PALM BEACH, FLORIDA –With the rollout of Pfizer and the Moderna vaccines, many art organizations are seeing light at the end of the tunnel. They see hope for a better tomorrow. One of them is the Palm Beach Show. This year has been particularly disruptive for the company that takes art everywhere with the objective of attracting art lovers, enthusiasts, and collectors from around the globe.

Due to the coronavirus, the Palm Beach Show Group concealed many of its art fairs, including the Baltimore Art, Antique & Jewelry Show.

However, hope springs eternal.  As the dust gradually settles on COVID-19, the Palm Beach Show Group has plans to return to the art circuit. The effort begins with the Palm Beach Show which runs from February 11-16 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center.  This is over the Presidents’ Day Weekend.  The organizers have described the event as the “FIRST and most likely the ONLY safe, socially distant jewelry, art and antique event of the season.”

The Show brings together leading art, antiques, and jewelry dealers. There are also collectors, designers, artists, and other creatives.  This is the 18th edition of the event.   The question many are asking is “what experience is to be expected when attending the Palm Beach Show?”

The experience for the 2021 Show will be different. Although COVID-19 vaccines are deployed, and many people are getting vaccinated, the organizers of the art fair are taking all percussions for everyone’s safety.  “Upon returning to hosting in-person live events, a significant amount of planning and protocols have been considered including the obvious proper sanitation efforts, social distancing, and safety measures,” notes a spokesperson for the organization.

As added precautions, the Show Group has posted a full list of the Show’s Safety Guidelines online.  Updates and changes are being made regularly in compliance with the venue, the CDC, WHO and government officials.

In addition to the expected COVID-19 compliant enhancements, the Group’s team is also making exciting changes to the show’s format. The new show format will now include a tiered opening night preview party and contactless digital ticketing.

The Show has a reputation for its amazing Opening Night Preview Party. The party welcomes thousands of art connoisseurs, museum curators, interior designers, collectors, and industry experts. In anticipation of the VIP Opening, crowds of people traditionally queue up to sip complimentary champagne while perusing and purchasing from the collections of the most exceptional exhibitors.

This long-held tradition will not happen in 2021 because of COVID-19.

To create a similar but alternative experience for VIP guests, organizers have reimagined the Opening Night to now include three separate openings throughout the evening.
