LOS ANGELES- Presently at the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles is the Broadway smash-hit Hamilton. The show, which started on August 11 will run through December 30, 2017. The performances at the Pantages Theatre are part of its  Los Angeles tour.

Hamilton digs into American history, to tell the story of Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington’s right-hand man during from Revolutionary War and was the new nations first Treasury Secretary.

The play is characterized political intrigues and maneuvers that will give present politicians a reason to pause. Exploring compositions that blend hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B, and Broadway, Hamilton tells the story of America then in the most entertaining contemporary way. The combination of different genre of music makes the performance very compelling an invigorating.

Hamilton: Hip-Hop, Jazz, Blues, Rap, R&B and Ballad

The concert-like atmosphere is entertaining and engaging. This is in addition to the amazing performance by the cast. The casting of actors of color as the founding fathers not only brings a surprising new twist to the story but also illuminates the importance of racial relations. At a time when politicians were colluding and exploring differences to maliciously denigrate one another, Hamilton’s inclusive cast preaches unity, respect, and understanding in spite of difference.Directed by Thomas Kail and starring

Directed by Thomas Kail and starring Miranda has traveled to different parts of the country and continues to receive accolades in part because it is changing the language of musicals.  Instead of rehashing the music of Hamilton’s era, Miranda embraces contemporary music like hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and ballad to tell the stories of the founding fathers in the most compelling way.  From audience response across the country, it is clear the choice of contemporary music that people hear on pop radio every day is a convincing way to engage the audience and tell the story of a man who grew from nothing to become of the most memorable people in American history.
