NEW YORK, NY Art lovers and aficionados now have the opportunity to show off their love of the 1950s art movement with the release of Andy Warhol art-inspired merchandise by Converse. Consisting of Warhol’s iconic prints, the collection illuminates the impact of the pop art icon on contemporary fashion trends. This is the third time Converse is collaborating with the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts to re/present Andy Warhol art in new ways.

Converse new Andy Warhol art style collection goes deeper into the artist’s outstanding artistic career as a leader of the pop movement. The previous collection highlighted his well-known prints, including banana print and Campbell Soup logos. The new Andy Warhol art trendy collection digs deeper with a focus on Cow and Flowers series. They appear on new designer sneakers now available in high-top and low-top.

Beyond footwear, art lovers also have other opportunities to show their love for the famous American pop artist.  In addition to the footwear, Converse has also released several printed T-shirts. The new Converse All Star Andy Warhol Flowers Tee celebrates this iconic pop artist. Each item in the collaboration features a glow-in-the-dark element, highlighting Warhol’s black light painting of the 1980s. Converse aptly describes the new Andy Warhol art collection. It “brightens up your wardrobe like nothing else.”

One of the most celebrated American artists, Andy Warhol was a leading figure of the pop art movement. His art focused on the relationship between artistic expression, celebrity culture, and advertisement.

Alongside artists like  Roy Lichtenstein, James Rosenquist, and Claes Oldenburg, Andy Warhol shaped a new concept for art appreciations. With their works, they blur the boundaries between “high”  art and “low” culture, by creating paintings and sculptures of mass culture objects and media stars.
