American Satan, a movie where music becomes a vector
NEW YORK, NY– The highly anticipated supernatural thriller American Satan is set for release on Friday, October 13. Directed by the son of legendary Academy Award winning director John Avildsen (Rocky, The Karate Kid), American Satan is expected to be the next rock-n-roll classic. It features Malcolm McDowell (A Clockwork Orange), BooBoo Stewart (X-Men: Days of Future Past), Mark Boone Jr. (Sons of Anarchy), Andy Biersack (Black Veiled Brides), and John Bradley (Game of Thrones).

In anticipation of the release date, Sumerian Films has released a new American Satan trailer. The trailer reveals the intrigues of a man who has sold his soul to the devil. It also shows the power of music. In addition to the trailer, the company has also released a video for American Satan’s first single Let Him Burn by The Relentless. The soundtrack is already number one metal song on iTunes in the UK and the number one original song on iTunes in the US.

American Satan is the story of a young rock band, half from England half from the US, who move to the Sunset Strip to chase their music dreams. In the land of dreams, they quickly wake up to reality and the realization that manna will not drop from heaven. Living in a van, their passion and talent exceed their means to survive. Adding salt to injury, the mother (Denise Richards) of the lead singer Johnny Faust (Andy Biersack) dies after a protracted illness.
Vulnerable and penniless, an enigmatic stranger (Malcolm McDowell) sees an opening to use the band to archive his devilish quest. A corny man with dubious intentions, he lures the band into a diabolic trap. He offers them a deal that will set them on a path of fame, fortune, and ultimately dark destruction. Caught in the middle of a pact with the devil himself, their music and controversial altercations end up influencing society beyond anything this century has seen.
