This is the Orange International Street Fair (OISF)—a cherished Southern California tradition held annually in the historic district of Old Towne Orange.
Every Labor Day weekend, Old Towne Orange transforms into a vibrant celebration of international cultures. Established in 1973 to mark the city’s centennial, the fair has grown into a major event, attracting more than 500,000 visitors annually. The OISF offers a rich sensory experience, featuring authentic ethnic foods, live music, artisan crafts, and family-friendly entertainment.
Originally conceived to commemorate the Orange Plaza Centennial, the event quickly became an annual tradition. Organized by OISF, Inc., a local nonprofit, the fair emphasizes cultural exchange, community support, and volunteerism. All proceeds benefit over 40 local nonprofit organizations, reinforcing its role as both a festival and a vehicle for community impact.
