Although her parents wanted her to become a doctor, lawyer, or pharmacist, Lam had a different vision for her future. She opened her first business when she was just 19, and she eventually grew it into a national, multimillion-dollar company. Today, Jenny Lam is an award-winning cookbook author and restaurateur. She is the former founder and marketing director at one of Australia’s top marketing and sales companies. Lam was a contestant on Australia’s popular TV Show: MasterChef Australia. Lam’s currently devoting her time to building a food empire that feeds the stomach and the soul. She plans to expand to five stores in the next two years. A second restaurant is already underway, and a second cookbook is in the works.
