BALTIMORE, MARYLAND–Love is in the air and lovers are doing their best to make this year’s Valentine’s Day celebration memorable.
Stores are filled with some of the best Valentine’s Day gifts: balloons, teddy bears, and wines. Some of the inscriptions on balloons and teddy bears are witty and stimulating: “Love You,” “Be Mine,” “I Love You,” and “Be Ride Together.”
This year’s Valentine’s Day celebration will be different because of COVID-19. To avoid spreading the virus, many lovers will have to celebrate at home or through Zoom. Well, there are lots of zoom lovers this year because the coronavirus has made it difficult for some lovers together.
Whichever way lovers decided to celebrate this year’s Valentine’s Day, there are steps they can follow to make it memorable.
Organizing dinner is one way to make this year’s Valentine’s Day celebration memorable. Even if you are zoom lovers, you can still make dinner work. Technology has made it easier to order the best food, wines, and nonalcoholic beverages. After ordering food and drinks, make sure you set the mood to make the night pleasurable.
The chance to set the mood is one advantage of eating at home on Valentine’s Day. You can set the mood with a collection of the best love songs that will help serenade your lover.
Nothing beats a romantic evening at home with love songs playing in the background. Thanks to technology, is now easy to get some of the best serenade songs to woo your lover on Valentine’s Day. Some of my favorite sweet serenades are by Secondhand Serenade.
One of my favorite groups to listen to for serenade songs is Secondhand Serenade. Led by vocalist, pianist, and guitarist John Vesely, Secondhand Serenade has produced several albums with some of the best serenade songs that lovers continue to use to serenade their girlfriends and lovers. Albums like Awake (2007), A Twist in My Story (2008), Hear Me Now (2010), and Undefeated (2014) have amazing love songs that are reinvigorating.
Tracks like Let Me In, Come Back To Me, Price We Pay, Stay Close, Don’t Go, You and I, Fall for you, and Your Call by Secondhand Serenadeare some of my favorite tracks. I also listen to classic serenade songs and old love songs from Marvin Gay, Luther Vandross, Lionel Richie, Diana Ross, and many others that have created songs for the hearts. Some of the best love songs are by country music artists, rock music stars, and indie musicians. Yes, there are modern love songs by contemporary artists that will take your heart on a journey of love.
Serenade songs are songs about love. Musicians and composers have for many years been writing serenade songs that touch the soul. To effectively communicate their emotion, they explore different instruments. Therefore, there are serenade songs for instruments like piano, guitar, and acoustic. Some of my best serenade songs for piano include My Heart Will Go On (Celine Dion), A Thousand Miles (Venessa Carlton), All I Ask For You (Andrew Lloyd Webber), and A Whole New World (Mena Massoud and Naomi Scott)
There are several ways to wooyour lover withserenade songs. If you know how to sing and play any musical instrument, you can learn a serenade song lyric and sing it to your lover during or after dinner. There are many YouTube videos though which you can learn lyrics of some of the best serenade songs. If you are going to play the guitar, make sure it istuned before the performance. However, you don’t have to strive for perfection. The idea is to have fun andenjoy your relationship.
Another way to enjoy the Valentine’s Day celebration is to have a karaoke night with your lover. You can sing duets like Endless Love. Yes, I like Endless Love by Lionel Richie and Diana Ross. Here is my list of best serenade songs duet.
If you are still contemplating what music to play to woo your lover on Valentine’s Day, I have compiled a list of some of my best serenade songs. Hope you like them.
