Independent artist Paulina Jayne who just landed a major sponsorship with Ford Motor Company is set to get on the road to promote road safety among young drivers.

NASHVILLE, TN. – Ford Motor Company Fund has reached a sponsorship deal with the independent artist and songwriter Paulina Jayne and her team, Girl King Co., LLC, a Nashville-based management firm. They will serve as spokespeople as well as promote Ford Company’s nonprofit Ford Driving Skills for Life (FDSFL) program. Paulina and Girl King Co., LLC, made up Tess Davies and Stevie Palmer were selected after a thorough vetting process.
Ford Driving Skills for Life is a national safety initiative created by Ford Motor Company, the Governors Highway Safety Association, and a panel of safety experts. The main objective is to draw attention to safety on the road. But more importantly, to help young drivers improve their skills in key areas that are critical factors in teen vehicle crashes.
Paulina Jayne is thrilled about the new relationship with Ford Motor Company. “I could not be more thrilled to have been honored with a Ford sponsorship,” she said. As part of the new relationship with one of the world’s premier automakers, Paulina Jayne and her team will provide public service announcements and videos for the Ford program. Their videos will feature safety tips on the road as Paulina Jayne tours in one of her Ford automobiles, a 15 passenger Ford Transit Van, which accommodates her band.
In addition to having a root in Detroit, Paulina Jayne, like Ford, is also devoted to promoting safety on the rood especially when it comes to teens. “As an artist with her roots in the Motor City, I am all about driving “American-made” and spreading the road safety message to young drivers like me everywhere,” she said.
On its part, Ford Motor Company is delighted that Paulina Jayne is joining with them on this project. “We are so pleased to have Paulina Jayne representing the Ford Driving Skills for Life brand. Ford’s relationship with Paulina Jayne and Girl King Co is very significant on many levels. In addition to being a significant endorsement of the artist, it also demonstrates the company’s steadfast belief in their success and relevance in the music industry for years to come. Paulina’s music is a confluence of music styles wrapped into one. It is a blend of rock, Motown, and country music influences. She describes it as “urban country.”
The relevance of Paulina Jayne in the music industry is evident in the reception of her single, Love’s Gonna Always Win. Since it was released, the single has racked-up approximately 400,000 streams and was added on 62 radio stations in 19 countries. It has also gotten many accolades for many in the music industry. Country Music Everywhere, another recent single by the artist was recently added to more than 25 Spotify playlists, the highlights being Release Radar and Discover Weekly.
The success of Paulina Jayne in the music arena was one of the major attractions for Ford. The attention garnered from online streams coupled with her high-intensity live performances ultimately caught the attention of Ford Motor Company and landed her the sponsorship. In addition, Paulina was recently extended the honor of becoming a celebrity ambassador for the national nonprofit organization, Miss Amazing, which empowers girls and women with disabilities.
Paulina Jayne was born and raised in the Motor City. She graduated from Belmont University in 2018. While in college, she teamed up with her fellow Belmont alums, Tess Davies and Stevie Palmer, who obtained marketing, management, and music business degrees and started an artist management company, Girl King Co. It did not take long before they caught the attention of those in the music industry.
Capitalizing on their collegiate studies, youth and fresh approach to marketing and promotions, they were able to revolutionize artist development strategies. Soon, they started attracting substantial attention in the industry in Nashville. Just before graduation, the team had a great idea to do a project with Ford. Therefore, they traveled to the Michigan headquarters of Ford Motor Company to pitch Paulina’s music, their plans, and ideas. The result is the signing of a major sponsorship deal with Ford’s nonprofit.
