BALTIMORE, MARYLAND–This year’s Sunday Concert at Otakon will be performed by ALL OFF. The Japanese rock band best known for the opening theme song of anime Heavy Object will thrill fans.
The five-member rock band was formed in 2004. Members include so-hey on vocals, Yukio on guitar, Kossy on Bass, Otsuki on Drums, and Gaku on Guitar.
ALL OFF’s journey to stardom started about a decade ago. After winning first place in the Countdown Jack music competition, the band went on to perform at Countdown Japan on 08/09. Known as one of the biggest rock festivals in Japan, the event was the springboard to fame for the group. In 2014 , the rock band performed at Rock In Japan Festival, Merry Rock Parade, and many other famous festivals and concerts. In less than a decade, the band has made great strive.
ALL OFF broke into the big-league with its debut single One More Chance! in 2015,. In addition to winning many hearts, the single became the opening theme for the anime Heavy Object. The band released its second single Never Gave Up in early 2016. Besides winning more fans for the group, the song became the season 2 opening theme of Heavy Object.
With their growing fame, the group is constantly on the road performing. The band’s two singles have become very popular at their concerts and fans can’t get enough. Wherever the band goes, fans sing and dance along. ALL OFF’s aggressive live performance while on their 2016 Japan Tour was exciting and continues to be memorable.
On August 31, the group will release its new single Refrain Boy, the ending theme song for the anime Mob Psycho One Hundred. When the rock band gets on stage at Otakon 2016, it will be great fun all the way. The band will rock the house with its brand of rock music.
