In addition to the North and South America, the game publishing company also announced that Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China is also available in EMEA territories for download on PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft and worldwide on Windows PC.
Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China goes into history to make this game authentic. It travels back to the 16th-century China when the recently appointed despotic Jiajing Emperor went on a rampage in the effort to eradicate all oppositions. In a cleansing mode, Jiajing Emperor instigated a sudden and ruthless purge of all he felt were a danger to his newly acquired throne. At the top of his list is the Chinese Brotherhood of Assassins. Jiajing Emperor was brutal and relentless in his attack on the Brotherhood of Assassins.
To escape that brutality, members of Chinese Brotherhood of Assassins had to hide their heads. Assassin Shao Jun was one of them. Assassin Shao Jun, fled to the West to complete her training under the legendary Assassin Ezio Auditore in the animated short Assassin’s Creed Embers. Her main objective was not just seek protection from the brutal leader but also prepare herself for the fights against bad leadership and tyranny. When she returned, it was with vengeance and the determination to restore the Chinese Brotherhood of Assassins.
Game players are in for a great time. In Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China, players follow Shao Jun’s story as she returns to China determined to revenge the attack on members of the Chinese Brotherhood of Assassins and restore the dignity of crumbling nation. Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China combines beautiful art with excitement and tourism.
Shao Jun’s story takes players to famous locales including the Maijishan Grottoes, Port of Macau, the Forbidden City and the Great Wall of China.
Shao Jun is a fierce stealth fighter with unbelievable agility to use some of the deadliest weapons. Armed with a combination of deadly weapons and equipment including a sharp and swift jian, a secret shoe blade, lethal rope darts and daggers, players will deliver payback to those who decimated the Chinese Brotherhood of Assassins.
Since it was created, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles has attracted many game players who can stop playing. Developed by Climax Studios in collaboration with Ubisoft Montreal, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles engages players with the thrill of being a Master Assassin. With amazing artworks, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles combines the essence of Chinese 16th-century traditional brush strokes with more contemporary impressionistic styles, to bring Shao Jun’s adventure to life. Players are captivated in a living painting as they traverse undetected across China’s historical landmarks.
Even as players enjoy Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China, Ubisoft is preparing to release Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India and Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia that will be released separately. The game will take players through India in the 19th-century Sikh Empire and then through Russia after the Red October revolution.
