BALTIMORE — After 20 years of marriage, Lilibeth Datu and Dennis Datu recently renewed their vows. It was pleasant to see the couple as they walked down the aisle, again. For them, true love has kept them together. Dressed in a beautiful sleeveless wedding gown, the bride was radiate all the way. Beside her was her husband dressed in a black suit. In his black suit accentuated by an immaculate white shirt and bow tie, the vivacious groom was no push over. He looked handsome and boisterous.
Wedding photographers had a filled day, taking pictures of the beautiful couple.
The wedding planners did not leave anything to chance in the effort to capture the meaning of true love. The Mariner, venue of the ceremony, was beautifully decorated with flowers and ribbons. Surrounding the couple as they walked down the aisle to the altar, were green and white flowers. It was like true love blooming all over again. The beautiful flowers were carefully selected to match the green theme of the ceremony and wedding colors. At the center of the wedding flowers at the altar was a bible. The bible was a reminder of the couple’s devotion to God. But more importantly, that God has been good and faithfully.
After taking their wedding vows, the couple exchanged wedding rings, again. Looking into each other’s eyes, they celebrated their true love. Although the couple has been married for 20 years, the renewal marked another beginning. They shed tears of joy as they professed their love for each other. Lilibeth and Dennis asked for wedding favors from God, even as the pastor of the ceremony prayed for both of them, asking for God’s guidance in this new beginning of their marriage.
A wedding reception was held soon after the ceremony. The hall was filled with an assortment of food. The icing on the cake was the roasted pig. Guests ate, drank and danced. Not to be out done, the couple took to the floor and did better than everyone on the dance floor. Guests watched as the couple did the Knag Jun style. There was Clapping and cheering.
