    ART FAIR: M.S. Rau Antiques Brings Valuable Vintage Collectibles, Fine Art, Sculpture, and  Jewelry to Baltimore Show.

    BALTIMORE, MD., – It is summer and there is a great expectation for this year’s Baltimore Art, Antique & Jewelry Show. It will be held from August 25th to 28th, 2016, at the Baltimore Convention Center. This year’s event is expected to attract an even greater number of art, antique and jewelry collectors to a city that is gradually becoming a destination for art lovers.

    As expected, exhibitors are getting their best collections together as they make their way to the venue. While some of the participants at this year’s event will be new, others have been coming to this annual ritual for years.  One of the regular exhibitors is M.S. Rau Antiques.

    For almost a decade, M.S. Rau Antiques has been presenting remarkable art, antique, and jewelry to collectors who throng their booth. This year is no exception.  In addition to the suitability of the location, M.S. Rau Antiques has continued to participate in the annual fair because of the people.

    “We love the location and have loyal clients, many from Pennsylvania, New York, and as far south as the Carolinas, who come to see is our most recent acquisitions each year.     This breathtaking diamond cross was a gift to the United Nations in 1965 from Pope Paul VI. Made from a beautiful combination of white diamonds and Colombian emeralds set in 18 carat gold, the exquisite cross is the most significant Papal jewelry object to ever come on the market in recent times. The 12 largest diamonds weigh over 59 carats. Proceeds from the sale of the exceptional jeweled treasure are expected to contribute to the UN’s work.
