BALTIMORE, MD.- Back-On, a hybrid rock band blending a variety of music genres, has been added to the long list of performers at this year’s Otakon Matsuri. The entertainment event which will be held July 23 at Baltimore’s beautiful West Shore Park at the Inner Harbor, already includes a long list of exciting performers. They include Project BECK, Kieran Strange and hip-hop star Richie Branson.
Back-On rock band is an exciting group that is bound to set the stage on fire when the Otakon Matsuri opens. A Japanese rock band from Tokyo, Japan, Back-On is made up of four childhood friends who enjoy creating new rock sounds. The outstanding ability of this rock band to combine Kenji03’s piercing vocal melodies with Teeda’s mixture of English and Japanese rap is at the core of the Back-On identity.
Over the years, Back-On has been entertaining lovers of their brand of hybrid rock. In Japan, the rock band has won many souls and continue to win more fans across the globe. On October 5, 2014, Back-On rock band performed a successful concert at the Akasaka Blitz music venue. The venue in Minato, Tokyo was filled to capacity with young and rock music fans who kept asking for more. Back-On has also had concerts in America, Germany, Canada, Europe, Brazil, Taiwan, and Mexico, receiving high acclaim for their refined and aggressive performance.
Back-On is a versatile hybrid rock band always in search of news ways to create new rock rhythms. That search has led to collaborations with other groups. Back-On has collaborated with and released songs with GReeeeN under the collaborative band BAReeeeeeeeeeN. Individual Back-On members have also collaborated with other talented artists such as Koda Kumi and SoulJa. In addition, the band has composed songs for other artists and is well-known for their song composition.
Back-On online presence is a major factor in the rock band’s popularity. Back-On Youtube channel is attracting so many followership. Discography is one of the music video generating a lot of fans for the rock group. Back-On Strike Back Youtube video is another of the band’s hybrid rock music attracting fans. Beyond entertaining their audience on stage, Back-On has also ventured into the area of composing music for anime series. Just recently, the band sung both theme songs of the anime series Gundam Build Fighters, spanning two seasons, as well as the theme song of its new sequel, Gundam Build Fighters Try. The rock band has also collaborated on other anime series, including Air Gear, Eyeshield 21, and One Piece.
In addition to anime, Back-On has also made major incursion in the area of games. The band has had major collaborations with game developers and designers. The band’s main game collaborations include: Tales of the World Mythology 2, Tales of the World Mythology 3,Gundam G Generation Frontier, Gundam Breaker, Gundam Breaker 2 .
Currently on its Japan & World Tour 2015, Back-On is expected to thrill fans when they arrive in Baltimore for Otakon Matsuri. Otakon 2015 will be held July 24-26 at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, MD. This year’s theme celebrates fairy tales, folk stories, myths, and legends.
