Traveling through 11 countries, Harvard University graduate challenges 84 strangers to help solve 1 Rubik’s Cube. The experience was hilarious and revealing.

BALTIMORE— For all those who do not understand how to unravel the mystery of the Rubik’s Cube, matching all the colors can be most challenging. After turning it this way and that way, many often give up. Challenging as solving the riddle of the Rubik’s Cube is, there is so much fun to be had. That fun is reflected in the recent YouTube video by Nuseir Yassin, a recent graduate of Harvard University. Uncertain about what to do after graduating,   Yassin embarked on a two-month backpacking trip around the world. His objective? “To see what the world has to offer.”

A geek with a sense of adventure, Yassin grabbed his iPhone 5S, a GoPro, and a 3x3x3 Rubik’s Cube and embarked on a journey across the globe. Traveling across 11 countries, he engaged the people and creatures he met with the Rubik’s Cube. The conversational piece brought smiles to the faces of all those that made the effort to conquer the Cubes. The people and creatures were gracious as they engaged in what was a new experience. 84 people (30 females and 54 males), 1 monkey, and 1 snake tried solving the Rubik’s Cube. Only one person, Yassin notes on his YouTube account of the trip, rejected his invitation to help unravel the mystery of the Rubik’s Cube.
